What we collect
When you request the guide, we collect the first name and email address you enter. If you give a last name, we collect that too.
We also record whether you ticked the optional box to receive occasional practical AI emails, and when and where you did so.
When we email you, our email system records delivery information, such as whether a message was delivered, bounced, or unsubscribed.
The pages are hosted by HighLevel. Like most web services, it may collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, in order to run the pages and the form.
How we use it
To send you the guide you asked for. This is the only use if you do not tick the optional box.
If you tick the optional box, to send you occasional practical AI emails for finance leaders from Lyle Weber at AI for Accountants.
To answer you if you reply to an email, and to keep a record of your choices so we respect them.
What we do not do
We do not sell your email address or contact details. We do not ask for company or client data, and you should not send it to us.
If you do not tick the optional box, we will not add you to the newsletter or send you marketing emails.
Who handles your information
We use HighLevel for our pages, forms, contact records and email sending, including its email delivery partners. We use Google Workspace for the mailbox that receives your replies. These providers process your information on our behalf to provide their services.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until you ask us to delete them. When you unsubscribe, we keep your email address and the unsubscribe record so that we do not email you again.
Your choices
Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops our marketing emails.
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
Our pages may use cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed for the page and form to work. Others, such as basic page analytics and advertising tools from providers like Meta or Google, help us measure how our pages perform and show our ads to people who have visited them. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
Where your information is processed
We are based in the United States, and our providers process information in the United States and possibly other countries. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information may be transferred there.
Children
Our guide and emails are written for finance professionals and are not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date below. We will ask again for your permission if a change affects what we email you about.
